About the game:
The game's history dates back to 1,500 to 2,000 years ago. Research on the game's origins indicates that it closely resembles our modern version of Snakes and Ladders and could be one of the oldest known games of its kind. Known by various names such as Leela, Gyan Chauper, Snakes, and Ladders among others, this game has numerous rule variations and interpretations.
Efforts are made to preserve the ancient wonder of the game using a scientific and psychological approach. Originally entwined with religious connotations, attempts have been made to strip away the religious language and Hindu references, while focusing on the humanistic aspects of the game. The result is a stimulating mental exercise aiding individuals in self-reflection.
The game's mechanics and its potential benefits are a key focus. The aim is to develop practical and user-friendly applications that impart age-old human wisdom. In today's digitally consumed world, where information overwhelms but true knowledge is scarce, incorporating meaningful practices into the digital realm becomes crucial for personal growth and reflection.
With a field ranging from 68 to 124 cells in different versions containing ladders and snakes that move players across the board, each cell typically carries a specific meaning or instruction. Our version of the game consists of 72 cells, beginning and ending at 68 squares, usually concluding in 30-50 moves. Every step offers insights into universal human concepts and values, helping players define their life purpose, recognize pathways to fulfillment, and stay vigilant against life's obstacles.
The game holds an aura of faith and mysticism even for non-believers due to its ability to subtly alter one's inner world. Players are often captivated by its transformative potential for personal growth and perception of external reality.
